Movie Story
“The Craft: Legacy” is a supernatural horror-drama that serves as a sequel to the 1996 cult classic The Craft. The story follows Lily Schechner (Cailee Spaeny), a teenager who moves to a new town with her mother, Helen (Michelle Monaghan), after Helen begins a relationship with Adam Harrison (David Duchovny), a charismatic self-help guru. Lily’s arrival at her new school is met with the usual challenges of fitting in, but her life takes a dramatic turn when she befriends three fellow outcasts—Frankie (Gideon Adlon), Tabby (Lovie Simone), and Lourdes (Zoey Luna)—who reveal themselves to be witches.

The trio has been searching for a fourth member to complete their coven, and they quickly discover that Lily possesses powerful magical abilities. As the four girls explore their newfound powers, they experience the thrill of casting spells and altering reality. However, as their magic grows stronger, so do the consequences of their actions. They soon find themselves grappling with the darker side of witchcraft, including the temptation to use their powers for personal gain and revenge.

Lily’s connection to her powers and her mysterious past becomes the focal point of the story as the coven’s magic starts to spiral out of control. Meanwhile, Adam’s true intentions and his involvement in occult practices are revealed, leading to a climactic showdown between the forces of good and evil. The film explores themes of empowerment, identity, and the dangers of unchecked power, while paying homage to the original The Craft with nods to its iconic characters and moments.
