Movie Story
“Boneyard” is a gripping crime thriller set in the gritty backdrop of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The film centers on Agent Petrovick (Mel Gibson), a seasoned FBI agent brought in to investigate a string of brutal murders attributed to a notorious serial killer known as “The Bone Collector.” The killings have left the city paralyzed with fear, with each new discovery bringing the investigators closer to the grim reality that the killer may be closer than they think.
Chief Carter (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson), the Chief of Police in Albuquerque, is desperate to stop the killer before more bodies pile up. However, as the investigation unfolds, he begins to suspect that the murderer might be one of his own officers. This suspicion creates a tense atmosphere within the police force, where trust is a rare commodity and everyone is a potential suspect.
As the body count rises, Detective Ortega (Brian Van Holt) and Detective Young (Nora Zehetner) join forces with Petrovick, digging deeper into the dark underbelly of the city. Their investigation leads them to a series of chilling discoveries, each more horrifying than the last. Meanwhile, Petrovick faces pressure from Special Agent Womack (Gail O’Grady) to solve the case quickly, but as he gets closer to the truth, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur.
The film builds to a tense and dramatic conclusion as the team uncovers the true identity of the Bone Collector. The climax reveals a shocking twist, testing the limits of Petrovick’s resolve and forcing him to confront his own demons as he races against time to prevent the killer from striking again.
