The film is a follow-up to the 2016 film “Meet the Blacks,” which parodied horror movies like “The Purge.”

In this sequel, Carl Black has written a best-selling book and returns to his childhood home to take care of his teenage son Carl Jr. and daughter Allie. Things seem to be going well for Carl until he meets his new neighbor, Dr. Mamuwalde (Katt Williams), who seems to be hiding a dark secret. Carl begins to suspect that Mamuwalde might be a vampire, and his suspicions are confirmed when strange events start happening in the neighborhood.

As Carl tries to prove to everyone that his neighbor is a vampire, he enlists the help of his cousin Cronut (Lil Duval) and his friend Rico (Tyrin Turner). Together, they come up with a plan to expose Mamuwalde and save the neighborhood from his evil influence. The film is filled with comedic antics, over-the-top situations, and a mix of horror and humor.

“The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2” leans heavily into its comedic elements, with Mike Epps delivering a performance that balances humor with moments of genuine fear.
