Movie Story
“The Last Son” is a gritty, action-packed Western that tells the story of Isaac LeMay (Sam Worthington), a notorious outlaw who believes he is cursed. Haunted by a prophecy that foretells his death at the hands of one of his own children, LeMay sets out on a violent mission to track down and kill each of his offspring. His ruthless quest takes him across the rugged landscape of the American frontier, leaving a trail of bloodshed in his wake.

LeMay’s most dangerous target is Cal (Colson Baker, aka Machine Gun Kelly), a rebellious and volatile young man who has inherited his father’s violent tendencies. Cal, who is unaware of LeMay’s plan, is on his own path of destruction, pursued by lawman Solomon (Thomas Jane), who is determined to bring him to justice. As LeMay closes in on Cal, the tension escalates, leading to a deadly confrontation that forces both father and son to confront their pasts and the brutal legacy of violence that binds them.

The film explores themes of fate, redemption, and the cycle of violence, with LeMay’s quest serving as a dark reflection of the Western genre’s traditional focus on justice and revenge. The stark, unforgiving landscape mirrors the characters’ internal struggles, creating a bleak yet compelling atmosphere.
